| West Lake Rooms to be located in the first floor of the Freshman Center |
- Special Ed. rooms shall be located on the First Floor of the Freshman Center.
- The classrooms will be set up as typical classrooms with a counter for computers along one wall. The opposite wall will include base cabinets for room storage.
- Centralized special rooms will be provided with direct access from the classrooms.
- Life Skills will be laid out to resemble an apartment space with the following:
- Kitchenette
- Bed
- Living Area
- Washer/Dryer
- 2 over sized restrooms will be provided that will allow for assistance if required.
- A padded Time Away room and a Sensory Room will allow for individual break out space.
- Production Room will be used for crafts and other activities shared by all the classrooms.

- Alternative Education Rooms will be located in the two existing classrooms of the Freshman Center directly north of the new West Lake suite of rooms. This location provides close proximity to the exterior and to public restrooms.

- Special Education Resource Rooms will also be integrated into the academic wings on each floor.
- 1st floor resource rooms are located between the Business and Science rooms.
- 2nd and 3rd floor resource rooms will be located in the central "wedge" area.
- The rooms are smaller than typical classrooms because the student load is expected to be less
- Resource rooms shall be equipped with countertops for computer stations
- A Project Room is provided for one on one or small group meetings.
- The academic wing is planned to be divided by grade per floor.
