The teacher desk would be located closer to the teaching wall.
On the south side of the room, there would be ½ glass wall for vision into the shop area. There would be ½ size lockers below the window for storage of student personal belongings.
Directly outside of the classroom/lab would be a utility sink in an alcove. The sink would have 2 goose neck faucets for hand washing.
There would be an office for the instructor on the east wall with a ½ vision panel in the door.

The shop would be set up with room for 14 milling machines, 16 lathes, 2 computer operated welding machines, and room for grinders and finishers on the floor.
The machines would be served by overhead utilities, including power, exhaust, and compressed air.
There would be 2 welding stations in the southeast corner, with an 8’ work bench to the north of the stations.
The delivery would be accomplished with an overhead door that could accommodate a hydraulic lift to assist in unloading deliveries.
The storage area would be approximately 200 square feet and would be set up to accommodate shelves.
There would be tool storage on both the east and west walls.
There would be elevated "caged" storage along the west wall, and that would be served by a rolling ladder, similar to a "parts store".
